It's hypocritical to complain about the water that the ALS challenge wastes, when you readily partake in millions of things that waste water. Pools, doing dishes, hell, eating meat wastes water. So you can be sanctimonious if you really want to, but the reality is that unless your a vegan that does their dishes in a bucket and doesn't go to pools, than you can't really call people out for wasting water without being a hypocrite. At that, you didn't even have the balls to keep it up. Nice.
You’re missing the point of the post on Instagram which was my decline in doing the ice bucket challenge part, not the donation part. The photo was the bigger picture of the challenge displaying Americans as a whole glorifying the unnecessary use of clean ice cold water in order to fight ALS. To me this just proves how hard it is to grab society’s attention on a serious matter. Yes, it’s sad that many people in America use massive amounts of water in their day to day lives but is this helping the matter? In the end we’re just causing another issue. If you can’t see that then I’d rather be called a hypocrite than be as ignorant as you are.
